LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – A Severe Thunderstorm Watch that had been issued until 6 p.m. Friday for parts of central Arkansas, including Pulaski County, and most of southern Arkansas has been dropped.
Severe storms are still possible later tonight into the early morning hours of Saturday, though. Another watch will likely be issued.
The storms coming with a line of development later tonight will threaten strong, damaging winds primarily. Winds could range from 60-80 mph. A couple embedded tornadoes within the line may also form.
