LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – It’s getting to the time of the year when we are always watching out for our next round of severe weather. Right now, it looks like the next round of strong thunderstorms will arrive early next week.

The Storm Prediction Center issues severe weather outlooks across the entire country. They have already circled an area where severe weather will be possible on Tuesday, Dec. 13th.

Just about all of Arkansas will be under a risk for severe weather. Much of the state is under a slight (2/5) risk, with an enhanced (3/5) risk covering southern Arkansas.

Current timing shows storms moving in during the afternoon and evening hours on Tuesday. Storms will likely clear the state before midnight.

All types of severe weather will be possible with this next round of storms. This event is still a few days out, so we will continue to keep you updated on the very latest information.
