Arkansas has two coaches at Hazen High School today to see defensive end Blayne Toll.
Toll, 6-5, 245, is considered the top prospect in the Class of 2020 inside the state. He is being visited today by Mark Smith and Steve Caldwell from the Razorbacks.
Arkansas and Oklahoma are in a battle for Toll who plays quarterback and defensive end for high school. He helped them get to the state championship game last season.
Toll is a four-star recruit who has over 20 scholarship offers. Tennessee and others are also trying to make a strong run at Toll. He was at the March 9 Elite Prospect Day at Arkansas. He added an offer from Nebraska on Monday.
Arkansas will host McKinney (Texas) North 2020 tight end Brandon Frazier, 6-7, 231, for an official visit on Thursday and Friday.
This will be the fifth time for Frazier to visit Arkansas. The other four were obviously unofficial visits with the last one being March 9 at the Elite Prospect Day. Texas Tech, Baylor and others are involved with Frazier.
The Hogs are also slated to host three others from Texas on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. They are Athens offensive tackle Garrett Hayes, 6-5, 275; Marshall wide receiver Savion Williams, 6-4, 195; and Arlington cornerback Jahari Rogers, 6-0, 170.
Texas A&M and Arkansas are among the favorites for Hayes, who was also at a spring practice in March. Rogers has Texas, Florida and many others after him as he owns 25 scholarship offers. He can play any number of positions in college. Williams has a long list of offers and likes Baylor, TCU and others in addition to the Hogs.
As a junior, Williams caught 43 passes for 656 yards and 11 touchdowns. Frazier caught 37 passes for 513 yards and five touchdowns in 2018.
Rogers plays quarterback for Arlington. As a junior, he completed 144 of 239 passes for 2,670 yards, 31 touchdowns and nine interceptions. He rushed 141 times for 819 yards and 15 touchdowns. He will officially visit Florida on May 17 weekend.
Two Older Ones
Arkansas is hoping to sign 4-5 cornerbacks in the Class of 2020. Among the ones they are a pair from the Jayhawk Conference in Kansas.
Highland Community College cornerback Brian George, 6-2, 190, is rated the best in the nation in JUCO by at least one recruiting service. He attended the spring game at Arkansas. He was recently offered by Alabama. He also likes Miami, Nebraska and others. He is from Belle Glade (Fla.).
The Hogs have also offered Hutchinson Community College cornerback Art Green, 6-2, 201. He is from St. Louis Parkway Central. The Hogs are looking for physical cornerbacks such as George and Green.
