McPherson on Hog Hoops, Plus Recruiting Notes on Thompson & McCreary

Pig Trail Nation/Hogville.Net Hoops Insider Kevin McPherson looks at the the way Arkansas was able to grind out a 73-71 win at Texas A&M. The Hogs didn’t shoot well overall (37%), but won the rebounding battle and came away with critical defensive stops. McPherson also explains the impact of role players Desi Sills and Gabe Osabuohien and the spark they provided in College Station. Starter Adrio Bailey still is still fighting bumps in the road during his junior year, but managed to make a few key plays at Reed Arena.

The Hogs get ready to host Florida in their SEC Home Opener Wednesday Night at 7:30 at Bud Walton Arena. Arkansas is 10-3 overall, 1-0 in conference play.
