Oklahoma City (Okla.) Bishop McGuinness three-star running back Dominic Richardson left Fayetteville very impressed with the Razorbacks following his official visit this weekend.

Richardson, 6-1, 190, provided feedback on the visit after leaving Arkansas.

“It was great,” Richardsons said. “Great atmosphere. We did a lot. Rakeem (Boyd) and Trey (Knox) a receiver and running back here. We just hung out and had a good time. They showed me around campus. The coaching staff is always outstanding. I loved it. It was good.”

How was the trip to Coach Chad Morris’ house Saturday night?

“It was great,” Richardson said. “A lot of people there. Coach Morris has a nice house. We just sat in there talking communicating about football and life itself. Getting to know each other. It was great and the food was good too.

Richardson was at the Arkansas Elite Prospect Day on March 9. Following the official visit this weekend where does Arkansas stand now?

“Definitely at the top of my list,” Richardson said. “Top 5 for sure. They’re definitely at the top of my list. I like TCU, Arkansas of course, Nebraska and Iowa State. Those are the top 4 right now.”

How much does Arkansas make you feel a priority?

“Great,” Richardson said. “They make me feel like I’m welcome, I’m home and I belong here which I love a lot. The coaches are outstanding and they show a lot of love. The players are just outstanding too, dedicated here which makes me feel I’m supposed to be here as well.”

Could a decision on your college be coming soon or do you have a timeline?

“Sometime soon,” Richardson said. “I’m not gonna say that, but sometime soon.”

Do you have any other officials set up?

“Nothing set up right now,” Richardson said. “This was my first official visit and it was great.”

Jeff Traylor is set to begin his second season coaching Arkansas’ running backs. What do you think of Coach Traylor and what he has been able to do so far?

“He’s great,” Richardson said. “He’s an outstanding guy and outstanding coach. We connect very well. We talk about a lot of things. Football, life and he’s like a second dad to me already. The players have already told me he’s like a dad to them. He helps them with everything. He’s just an outstanding coach.”

Richardson has rushed approximately 4,000 yards his first two years in high school. What kind of goals do you have for your senior season?

“Break records which is obviously my goal and just finish off strong,” Richardson said. “Just stay humble and try to do it all.”

If you commit here will you try to recruit some of the other Oklahoma guys?

“For sure,” RIchardson said. “If I come here. A lot of other players want to play with me already. If I come I’m pretty sure I can get a handful.”
