Fayetteville, AR-

Hog Tight Ends Coach Barry Lunney Jr. had high praise for Redshirt Junior Cheyenne O’Grady Monday.  At the same time, Lunney Jr. emphasized that it’s time for O’Grady to step up from a consistency and maturity standpoint.  O’Grady started one game in 2017 and finished with 21 catches 132 receiving yards and two touchdowns on the season.  However, what he’s doing without the football catches Lunney’s attention when reflecting on O’Grady’s time with the Hogs since arriving in 2015.

“He has come a long way as a run-blocker.  It’s time for him to take that next step, and it’s something we talked at length about,” Lunney Jr. said.

O’Grady has a wealth of ability as a ball-catcher, in Lunney’s opinion.  The 6’4 redshirt junior had two touchdowns in the Red-White game last spring, including one for 53 yards.
