The Razorbacks (22-7, 6-3 SEC) are coming off a series loss to then-No. 21 Ole Miss last weekend in Baum-Walker Stadium, breaking a streak of 18-straight home series victories. However, the Hogs got another good start from redshirt junior Isaiah Campbell that resulted in his sixth victory of the year.

Campbell is one of only three pitchers in the SEC with six wins this year, which leads all pitchers in the league. He also joins Vanderbilt’s Drake Fellows as the only pitchers with three wins in conference play. Overall, Campbell is 6-0 with a 2.03 ERA and has an 8.00 strikeout-to-walk ratio, which is fourth-best in the SEC and 21st in the nation.

Even with the quick turnaround and Arkansas’ first Thursday-Saturday series this week, head coach Dave Van Horn is sticking with his usual rotation for games one and two as freshman right-hander Connor Noland will follow Campbell on Friday. Noland had a good bounce back start last week against Ole Miss, going 4.2 innings with only two earned runs allowed.

Offensively, sophomore Heston Kjerstad and junior Jack Kenley lead all Razorback hitters as both are hitting .319 with a combined 11 home runs and 41 RBIs. Both had two hits in Tuesday’s game against Little Rock and Kenley hit his sixth home run of the year, which ties for the team lead.

Redshirt senior Trevor Ezell played his first game this season as the leadoff batter on Tuesday. Ezell responded well to the move, going 3-for-5 with a walk, including two bunt singles. It was Ezell’s first three-hit game since Feb. 27 against Memphis.

On the flip side, Auburn (22-7, 6-3 SEC) comes into the week with an identical record as Arkansas and is coming off a series win at South Carolina. Auburn has outscored its opponents 110-46 at home this season. The team has turned in a 1.90 ERA and is holding opponents to a .200 batting average in its 17 contests at home.

The Tigers, led by fourth-year head coach Butch Thompson will send freshman Brooks Fuller to the mound on Thursday opposite Campbell, while their ace Tanner Burns will continue pitching on Friday. Auburn hasn’t announced a starter for Saturday’s finale.

Tanner Burns is 2-0 with a 0.33 ERA in four starts at home this season. He has allowed one earned run in 27.2 innings pitched and has 41 strikeouts compared to three walks. Fuller will make his second straight SEC start Thursday and he is 1-1 with a 2.92 ERA in three conference appearances.
