Arkansas has extended an offer to former Virginia Tech kicker Jordan Stout, who is known for his booming kickoffs.
Stout, who also has a Penn State offer, announced the Arkansas offer on Twitter on Thursday.
Stout, 6-2, 197, saw 60 of his 71 kickoffs in 2018 go for touchbacks. He added four point after touchdowns and missed his only field goal attempt.
He signed with Virginia Tech out of Honaker (Va.) High School in the Class of 2017. He redshirted his first season with the Hokies.
Stout has three years to play three at his new school. Though he can punt and place kick, he was limited basically to kicking off this past season. Oscar Bradburn handled the punting and Brian Johnson the field goal and PAT duties other than the four point afters and one field goal attempt by Stout.
Earlier the Hogs added University of Texas San Antonio kicker Jared Sackett who will have to sit out the 2019 season.
