UPDATE: 8 Confirmed tornadoes in Arkansas from storms caused by Laura

UPDATE:

Sunday, August 30 — Two more tornadoes have been confirmed as a result of storms cause by Laura Thursday evening.

Saturday, August 29 — The National Weather service in Memphis confirmed six more tornadoes in Arkansas as a result of storms caused by Laura Thursday night.

They confirmed tornadoes in St. Francis, Poinsett, Cross, Craighead and Lafayette Counties.

RANDOLPH COUNTY, Ark. — A tornado was confirmed in Randolph county. The tornado occurred last night from storms caused by Laura.

It was given an EF2 rating which is on the higher side of what usually occurs in tropical systems. 

This is the 34th tornado for 2020.
