Little Rock teachers’ union expresses ongoing concern over LRSD COVID-19 response

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — After two weeks of classes, the Little Rock Education Association teachers’ union has sent an open letter to state and LRSD school officials expressing ongoing concern over the response to the coronavirus pandemic.

Governor Asa Hutchinson and education officials have repeatedly expressed confidence in the measures being taken to maintain in-person learning for students.

The letter was released Saturday morning.
