Houston North Shore Class of 2020 three-star running back John Gentry has narrowed his list down to five schools.

Gentry announced the list on Twitter Tuesday night.

In addition to Arkansas, Gentry has Utah State, UNLV, Houston and Wyoming on his list. He’s still keeping his options open to other schools as well.

Gentry will officially visit Arkansas June 12-14. The Razorbacks were his first offer on Sept. 5, 2018. He took an unofficial visit to Arkansas on April 6 for the spring game.

He helped North Shore to a 16-0 record and 6A DI state championship in 2018.

In addition to his five favorites, Gentry also holds offers from Colorado State, Hawaii, Tulsa, Southern Miss, New Mexico, New Mexico State, Louisiana and North Texas.

Arkansas will host some other recruits for official and unofficial visits next week as well. The Hogs will have camps on Monday and Tuesday, two on Thursday and one more on Friday next week.

Among the expected unofficial visitors will be the Memphis Briarcrest Christian pair of running back Jabari Small and two-way lineman Omari Thomas.
