World’s shortest zero-K foot race held in Hot Springs

News

HOT SPRINGS, Ark. – Well if you ever wondered what the world’s shortest marathon looked like, look no further.

Hot Springs hosted the first-ever world’s shortest zero K foot race.

It’s a companion event to the first ever, 16th annual world’s shortest Saint Patrick’s Day Parade.

Today’s race covered the 98-foot parade route and another 201 feet.

That makes it the shortest Zero K race on record.

“You finished! how’s it feel?”

“Oh it was so energizing and I really have worked out really hard for this for quite a long time. Been a lot of training involved.”

The parade itself will be Sunday.

It’ll feature celebrity Grand Marshal Ralph “The Karate Kid” Macchio and Ellen DeGeneres’ DJ Stephen “Twitch” Boss.
