Web Extra: Mike Huckabee Talks Capitol Corruption, Term Limits

News

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Capitol View’s Aaron Nolan caught up with a former Arkansas governor on the set of his new show in Nashville.

Mike Huckabee said one of the biggest disappointments is watching the state legislature right now because of his hard work to stomp out similar capitol corruption in his early years as governor.

“Those of us who were involved in the politics of Arkansas at the time probably thought, ‘Boy, I’m glad we’re going to get rid of this. It will never happen again. People will see that they eventually get caught,'” he said. “So my heart was broken when I saw people, some of whom I knew, some of whom I worked with when I was governor and they were in the legislature, and some really surprised me.”

Watch the video above to hear more of Huckabee and Nolan’s conversation, including his thoughts on a third presidential run.
