LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Democratic State Representative Clarke Tucker believes he’s narrowing the gap in his race to unseat Congressman French Hill (R-2nd District) in November.

Recent national forecasts have moved the race from “Likely Republican” to “Lean Republican”. Tucker says he knows he still has work to do to overtake Congressman Hill.

During an interview on Capitol View, Tucker discussed the race, as well as tariffs, health care, and a recent complaint filed by a dark money group against him.

In this web extra, Tucker talks about work requirements for Medicaid beneficiaries in Arkansas, and why he fears they hurt many Arkansans’ ability to obtain health care.

Capitol View airs at 8:30 Sunday mornings on KARK. It is hosted by Jessi Turnure.
