KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Near record rainfall for February in combination with another strong system on Saturday has led to dangerous flash flooding and rising river levels across Tennessee and Mississippi.
Heavy rain across that portion of the south prompted numerous water rescues as crews quickly work to close roadways.
On top of all that, additional rainfall is expected later in the day Saturday.
