NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Victims in the shooting at Little Rock’s Power Ultra Lounge last year have filed a lawsuit against the club and its owner.
The action was announced in a Wednesday afternoon news conference at a North Little Rock law firm.
Lawyers for 20 survivors of the July 1, 2017 shooting in downtown have named Power Ultra Lounge, its owner Herman Ray Lewis, Sr., and others as defendants in the lawsuit.
Among other things, the lawsuit claims that the defendants were negligent in operating the club and that their negligence caused injuries to the 20 plaintiffs who were inside when the shooting happened.
