Update: Arkansas has most power outages in the country due to Easter storms, 21k+ without power

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Thousands of Arkansans are still without power this evening as a result of severe weather Easter weekend.

Right now there are more than 21,000 customers are still in the dark.

Nearly all of those outages are in the south and southeast parts of the state. Thousands are working to restore power to those who are still without.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark.- There are 22,631 customers without power in Arkansas.

According to PowerOutage.US, at least 15 counties in Arkansas have reported outages.

According to PowerOutage.US Tuesday morning, there are 104,781 customers without power in Arkansas.

Kentucky (47,509), South Carolina (41,187), North Carolina (36,421) and Massachusetts (36,268) also have widespread outages, according to PowerOutage.US.

According to PowerOutage.US, at least 25 counties in Arkansas have reported outages.

Update:

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Storms from Easter weekend have knocked out power for a lot of Arkansans but power has become restored to a couple thousand already.

Towards the beginning of the day there were more than 130,000 people without power. Tonight that number has dropped to 100,000 people.
