Discovery on June 11 followed apparent suicide of victim's husband

Update:
WEST FORK, Ark. (KNWA) - Police have released new details in the homicide investigation of Lori Bruick, who was found dead in her home on June 11.

Officers had tried to make contact with the woman, but when she didn't answer, they went inside. Reports say it appeared a disturbance had taken place in the garage. While searching, police found Bruick's body inside a chest freezer. Men's clothing with what appeared to be blood on them was also found inside the home.

Police also reported finding several letters written by Bruick's husband, Lawrence, stating he was having suicidal thoughts. The man was found dead of an apparent suicide in Logan County. That was why police had gone to the Bruick's home in West Fork, to notify his family.

A preliminary autopsy report shows the woman died from blunt force trauma.

Police are still looking for a motive and say there are no other suspects in Bruick's murder.
