CLEVELAND, Ark. — A man is dead and three other men are injured after a crash involving a UTV early Sunday morning in Conway County.
According to an Arkansas Department of Public Safety crash report, the incident happened on Highway 124 in the Cleveland community at 3:00 a.m.
The report stated that the four men were riding in a Polaris Ranger that left the roadway and struck a road sign before overturning.
John Whatley, a 41-year-old passenger in the UTV, was killed in the crash. The original report from the Department of Public Safety listed Whatley as the driver.
The 36-year-old driver, a 41-year-old passenger and a 19-year-old passenger were hurt in the incident.
The road was wet and it was raining at the time of the crash, according to the preliminary report.
The investigation is continuing.
