SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. (KNWA) – Siloam Springs is in the running to be featured on a television show that would pump a half million dollars into the city’s economy.

Small Business Revolution is a show airing on Hulu which showcases a small town and its locally-owned businesses. Siloam Springs is one of 10 cities vying for the spot.

To get a feel of the town, the show’s team will walk through downtown and talk with business owners on their struggles and successes.

Small Business Revolution will infuse $500,000 into the winning city to promote economic development.

“All of these communities that we’re visiting already have something special going that’s why we’re visiting them but there’s something about someone else coming at it from the outside and telling you ‘you got something special here’ that just renews that sense of pride,” says Small Business Revolution co-host Amanda Brinkman.

Towns will be narrowed down to the top five in mid-February.
