Road closures due to storm damage, flooding in Central Arkansas

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Due to flash flooding and storm damage, several roads and highways across central Arkansas have been temporarily closed. 

A section of State Highway 35 has been closed due to a downed tree. 

Kellog Acres Road in Sherwood is closed due to a downed tree on power lines just past a nearby bridge. 

Flash flooding in North Little Rock caused multiple roads to close including Pershing and Percy Machin, Crystal Hill at Kelly, Crystal Hill at Wild River Country, Faulkner Lake Road between I-440 and Hwy. 391 and Hwy. 165 between Rose and Campbell. Flash flooding was also spotted at Hwy. 365 and MacArthur Drive and street flooding on N. Cypress Creek. 

Flash flood reported one-mile east-southeast of Center Hill in White County. Water flowing over Hwy. 36 at Nature Valley.

Five inches of water over Roster Road between Daltry and Middle Road six miles northeast of Conway. A culvert is also washed up.

Flash flooding on Otto Road in Vilonia.

Video of flash flooding along Central Ave. at Files Road in Hot Springs. The intersection was completely underwater and there was a vehicle stranded in the flooding.
