LITTLE ROCK, AR – The Republican Party of Arkansas is growing to meet the needs of its members.
The GOP is making plans to expand its headquarters building near the State Capitol.
“In 2014, the people of Arkansas elected record numbers of GOP candidates. Republicans now hold every state constitutional office, every federal legislative seat, and the majority in both the State House and State Senate,” the party states on its website, adding that “With all these gains, we quickly realized we didn’t even have enough chairs in our headquarters building for the State House Caucus! It’s a great problem to have, but the time has come that our facilities must expand to keep up with the Party.”
The party has bought the building next door to its headquarters and is planning to merge the two into a single multi-function complex to be called the Rockefeller Republican Center (see attached drawing).
The plan is to build as funds are donated, with the goal of not incurring debt, or impairing operational funds. To do that, the party sais it needs help through donations.
