EL DORADO, AR – Arkansas’ 4th District representative Bruce Westerman made a stop in south Arkansas Wednesday morning for an event called “Coffee with the Congressman.
Rep. Westerman had the chance to talk to constituents in El Dorado and learn about their concerns in the district and in Washington.
Westerman, who leaves on an educational tour of Israel next week, says this is the perfect time to go to the Middle East.
“We will be meeting with Israeli leaders. We have a meeting with the Prime Minister and the President, and several others while we are there. So, I think it is very fitting with this so called “Peace Deal” that the president is pushing, for us to go there and see first hand and hear from the people who will literally be affected on the front lines with any kind of deal with Iran.”
While in El Dorado, the congressman also toured the El Dorado Chemical Company and South Arkansas Community College.
