     Thursday’s Storm System brought a recrod daily rainfall to Little Rock.  Little Rock received 5.44″ of rain Thursday, and that broke the old daily rainfall record for April 18 of 1.74″ set in 1911.  That 5.44″ of rain makes Thursday, April 18, the 5th Wettest Day in the month of April on Record for Little Rock.

    Other locations in Pulaski, Saline, Grant, Hot Spring, Clark, and Dallas counties also received four to five inches plus of rain.  Flash Flooding occured in Pulaski & Saline counties and even temporarily shut down I-30 near the Pulaski/Saline county line.

     Little Rock has received more than 10 inches of rain for April, 2019, and is nearing being in the top ten wettest Aprils.
