LITTLE ROCK, Ark.- This week, we learned where the first cultivation facilities for medical marijuana will be in the natural state.
On Friday, the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Association answered some of the biggest questions about the new business at a free symposium.
They talked about the technology coming in the industry, banking and how you could get a job in the growing business.
Brian Bauer, the co-founder and CEO of MediPays says, “Celebrating the rollout of this industry that offers a lot of economic promise for Arkansas, not to mention the fact that this industry will offer medicine to patients in Arkansas that will benefit greatly from it.”
The commission plans to announce who will be awarded the state’s 32 medical marijuana dispensary licenses this summer.
