Police Searching For Little Rock Homicide, Stabbing Suspect

Little Rock, Ark. - Little Rock Police are searching for the man who killed a 33-year-old Saturday night and stabbed another man.

Police say 36-year-old Carlos Ramos is wanted on several warrants including first degree murder and battery.

Officers say around 8 p.m. Saturday, there was a fight outside a trailer park in the 8700 block of Stanton Road. According to police Ramos fatally stabbed a 33-year-old man and injured 49-year-old Jose Ibarra. Police are not releasing the name of the other victim until they notify family. Officers say the three men know each other but only Ibarra lives at the trailer park.

Little Rock Police say Ramos is known to hang out in southwest parts of the city, mainly the Stanton Road area and an apartment complex off Baseline Road near Walmart.

Neighbors like Patricia Coughran say the trailer park she lives in is not the ideal place to call home.

"They drink all the time and raise Cain," Coughran said.

But she never expected the violence that happened outside her bedroom window Saturday night.

"Looked out the window and seen him laying in front of that red truck over there," she said. "It scared me, he was just laid out. He couldn't even breathe or nothing."

Coughran says one of the biggest problems at the trailer park is drinking and she says there was a party going on right before the stabbing happened.

"Out here joking around and drinking, dancing and carrying on," she added.

Coughran doesn't know either of the victims, but is worried knowing the man responsible is still out there.

"I'm concerned with what's happening cause you never know," Coughran said.

She does know she'll never forget what she saw outside her home Saturday.

Anyone with information about Ramos' whereabouts is asked to call Little Rock Police.
