Parents Searching Jackson County for Missing Son

News

BRADFORD, Ark. — Jackson County parents are pleading for answers as they search for their son who never came home.

Family say 20-year-old Micheal Morris was last seen a week ago, walking home along Highway 367 in Olyphant.

“He wanted to just walk and clear his head. It’s not out of the ordinary for him to walk,” said Morris’ mother Cynthia Medlock.

Medlock says she filed a missing persons report with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.
Medlock spent Sunday searching along roads, and in fields and woods near the highway. Dozens of friends and volunteers helped form search parties.

“Either he’s hurt somewhere or somebody knows where he is,” Medlock said. “He has a good heart. He’s a good kid.”

As the sun faded on another day without answers, stepfather J.C. Medlock said staying positive becomes the next challenge.

“That’s my biggest fear, that he just froze cause it was so cold there for 3 different nights,” he said,

Until she knows her son is safe, Medlock says she’ll be out searching every day.

“We just want him to come home, that’s it. I just want him to come home,” she said.

The family is offering a $2,500 reward for information leading the Medlocks to find their son.
