LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Five years ago Wicked Mixes starting blending peanuts and pretzels for a flavor that folks loved, but last year a new product sent this Natural State business booming once again.
Wicked Minis are seasoned oyster crackers. The product made its debut in May of 2018.
“We’ve really been working on it for about two years,” says Stan Roberts from Wicked.
The minis come in three flavors: Crushed Red Pepper, Garden Dill and Garlic Parmesan.
“It’s really a snacking cracker that you just open them up, pour them in your hand and eat it, kind of like wicked mix. It’s the perfect on the go product to stick in a briefcase, golf bag, purse, backpack, whatever it is,” adds Roberts.
Wicked can be found in 44 states and in Canada.
Roberts said New York is a hot spot for the crackers, in fact you can buy them in 150 groceries in the Empire State.
“My brother lives in New York and he walks in the bodega in his building one day, and is buying dinner and all of the sudden there’s Wicked Minis sitting there at the counter,” Roberts says.
With this new taste, Roberts says the sky is the limit for this Arkansas business.
“We’re not slowing down, we fully expect to roughly double our sales this year,” he says.
