Chester, AR (KNWA/KFTA) — A Cirrus SR-22 airplane crashed near Crawford, AR late Friday evening.

Crawford County Sheriff, Ron Brown, says the plane has been located and four have been confirmed dead.

Sheriff Brown says around 8:15 this morning Arkansas State Police spotted wreckage.

Sheriff Ron Brown says just after 9 p.m. last night, emergency responders began looking for the plane.
