LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – A 24-year-old man was robbed of his clothes Wednesday evening, according to police.
Around 5:45 p.m. Little Rock police officers received a call from residents that a naked man was in their backyard on Arch Street saying he had been robbed.
The victim met with officers at the 2900 block of Arch Street and said he was in North Little Rock with a woman when they were picked up by two males. He said the suspects then drove them to Little Rock in a four-door gray sedan.
According to the police report, the suspects dropped the woman off near the 700 block of Broadway. The suspects then drove the 24-year-old man to an alleyway near the 2700 block of Arch Street, pulled out a .380 handgun and told the victim to empty his pockets.
According to the victim, the suspects stripped him of his clothes and shoes leaving him with nothing but basketball shorts.
The suspects took the victim’s ID, one Rolex watch, one unknown model watch, two hats, a coat and a pair of Gucci tennis shoes. The suspects then fled the area, heading north on Arch Street in their sedan, according to the incident report.
The 24-year-old said he walked to a nearby store where nice people gave him clothing and shoes.
He then walked back toward Arch Street where he knocked on a resident’s door and asked for socks.
The homeowners told officers that the victim did indeed knock on their door asking for socks and they gave him a pair of boots instead.
Officers were not able to locate the suspects. If you have any information regarding the incident you are asked to call the Little Rock Police Department.
