BENTONVILLE, Ark. (KNWA)- Three-hundred women were treated to breakfast and a special guest speaker in Bentonville Thursday morning.
The Network of Executive Women of Northwest Arkansas, in partnership with Johnson & Johnson, hosted an event with keynote speaker Katherine Wintsch.
Wintsch is the founder and CEO of the Mom Complex and author of ‘Slay Like a Mother.’
Her debut novel is based on the research of 10,000 mothers. Its purpose is to start a dialogue about transforming self-doubt into self-compassion.
“I believe that women are a really powerful force in this world and it’s more important today than ever before for women to stand up for themselves, but you can’t stand up for yourself if you don’t believe in yourself,” said Wintsch. “And so I really want to help women believe in themselves, and I really think that they can change the world if that happens.”
Every attendee received a free copy of the book.
