LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (News release) – The Mega Millions® jackpot for tonight’s drawing was just raised to $433 million – the sixth largest in the game’s history and the 19th largest in United States lottery history.

Tonight’s drawing will be at 10 p.m. Sales cut off at 9:45 p.m.

If there isn’t a jackpot winner tonight, the jackpot will jump to an estimated $493 million for next Tuesday’s drawing.

Eliburto Cantu claimed the largest Arkansas Mega Millions® prize of $177 million last year after purchasing a ticket in Stuttgart.

“A jackpot of $433 million would be life-changing for anyone,” said Arkansas Scholarship Lottery Director Bishop Woosley. “And even if a player doesn’t win the jackpot, they can still be a big winner by playing the Megaplier®.”

On Tuesday of this week, there were three second-tier winners of $1 million and two third-tier winners of $50,000, plus 25 third-tier winners of $10,000 each.

Tickets are $2 each, with the Megaplier® option for an additional $1. Prizes on all Megaplier® tickets are multiplied, except for the jackpot.

“There are still a lot of people who don’t know how to play Mega Millions®,” Woosley said. “It is really easy. Players select five numbers from one to 70 and one Megaball® number from one to 25. Or they can play a Quick Pick where the computer picks the numbers for them. The odds of winning are the same whether a player selects their number or goes with the Quick Pick.”
