Suspect arrested in Little Rock shooting

Update:

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Yesterday evening Isreal Johnson, 52, was arrested in connection to the shooting.

Officers found and arrested him on a traffic stop. He was later charged with Battery 1st and Possession of a Firearm by Certain Person.

He was later taken to the Pulaski County Regional Detention Center.

Update:

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The victim was shot in the leg and has a non-life threatening gunshot wound. The victim is an adult.

Information is leading detectives to believe that this started as an argument between acquaintances. The suspect is also an adult.

There is no suspect in custody yet.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Little Rock police are on the scene of a shooting on S. Arch St. and West Roosevelt Rd. The shooting is believed to have happened around 5:30 p.m.

LRPD confirms that the victim has non-life threatening injuries.

There were multiple shell casings found.

We have a crew headed towards the scene.
