Update: Homicide Victim ID'd in Little Rock Apt. Complex Shooting


LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - A 32-year-old man was killed in an early morning Friday shooting at a Little Rock apartment complex, authorities say. 

At 1:44 a.m. police were called to the Oak Ridge Apartments located at the 6200 block of Mabelvale Cutoff in regards to a shooting. 

When officers arrived at the scene they found a deceased male victim lying in the driveway of the apartment complex. Police say the victim was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. 

The victim has been identified as Levon Sales Jr., 32. 

Homicide Detectives and CSSU personnel responded to the scene. 

Detectives canvased the neighborhood for potential witnesses. 

Sales' body was transported to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory for an autopsy.

At this time there is no suspect information, or any information regarding the motive behind this incident.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- Little Rock police say they're investigating an overnight homicide at the Oak Ridge Apartments on Mabelvale Cut Off.

At this point, officers will confirm one person is dead.

No other information -- including anything about a suspect -- is being released at this time.
