PULASKI COUNTY, Ark. - Flash flooding is impacting the Roland area after some heavy rainfall.
A National Weather Service storm report from 9:35 a.m. Wednesday says Beaver Creek Road by the Mill Bayou Creek is flooded and water is approaching a few homes in the area.
In addition, Roland Cutoff Road is reported to be impassable due to flooding.
Our meteorologists say radar estimates more than 10 inches of rain has fallen over the Roland area in the past 24 hours.
The Maumelle area has also received a lot of rain in the same time period.
Our meteorologists say a downpour dumped more than two inches an hour at one point during the morning. The estimated 24 hour rainfall totals to about three inches.
