LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Many questions remain surrounding the club where Saturday’s mass shooting incident occurred — Power Ultra Lounge. KARK Investigative Reporter Marci Manley found a paper trail following both the club and owner Herman Lewis.

There appear to be court cases for debts owed against Lewis in the past month. It appears there may be other issues like taxes owed.

Alcoholic Beverage Control officials say there have been seven violations cited against the Power Ultra Lounge since 2012 — including violations for underage drinking.

ABC has suspended the lounge’s mixed-drink license with at least three potential violations in play. Those potential violations include allowing possession of weapons, disorderly conduct, and failure to be a good neighbor. City officials have vowed to shut down the Power Ultra Lounge.

Lewis will have the chance to appear at an ABC hearing on July 10.

KARK reached out to Lewis for comment. He did not respond to our phone calls.
