NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark.-- Tulsa Police announced Saturday a murder suspect they were searching for was arrested in Arkansas.
On Tuesday North Little Rock Police arrested the Oklahoma woman accused of stabbing another woman to death.
Beverly Nichols was wanted for 1st degree murder out of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Tulsa PD made the announcement about the charge and the hunt for the 42-year old on Tuesday nearly a year after the murder.
Police said Nichols claimed to have found the victim Felicia Jones stabbed to death in her Tulsa apartment after she had to break into it last August.
TPD said the suspect stayed at the victim's place before the killing.
According to Nichols Arrest and booking report, NLR police arrested Nichols at a Rose City home Tuesday night.
We learned from Tulsa Police homicide Sgt. Dave Walker that a Crimestoppers tip led officers to Arkansas.
We went by the home where a person who identified himself as a relative of the suspect said he had no idea of the murder in Tulsa and Nichols had been in town visiting her sick father.
She was booked into the Pulaski County jail with no bond.
We've learned she will be sent back to Tulsa in the next week to face a first-degree murder charge.
