NFL Player and Former Razorback’s Ankle Grazed in Shooting

FAYETTEVILLE, ARK. — A former Arkansas Razorback and current Tennessee Titan football player was shot early Sunday in Fayetteville.

Sebastian Tretola’s ankle was grazed by a bullet around 2:00 a.m. 

Another person was injured, but their name and condition have not been released.

Fayetteville police are investigating the shooting.

It occurred Sunday morning in a parking lot near the Sterling District Apartments off Dickson Street.

The Tennessee Titans have issued the following statement:

“We are aware of the reports that Sebastian received treatment for a wound when he was grazed by a bullet. He has been released from the hospital and is thankful for only a minor injury.”
