Lt. Gov. Tim Griffin surveys flooding damage in Jefferson County

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ark.- As the recovery begins, Governor Asa Hutchinson has submitted a request to President Donald Trump for federal disaster assistance. 

Officials still don’t know exactly how much this historic flooding disaster will cost when it’s said and done. 

In the clip above, photojournalist Paden Moore hopped on a boat with Lieutenant Governor Tim Griffin Friday as he surveyed the damage firsthand in Jefferson County.
