UPDATE: LR Police still searching for Saturday evening Bass Pro Drive shooting

Police say that the victim in the homicide at Bass Pro Drive near the Outlets of Little Rock has died.

Police are still on the search for the 16-year-old suspect who is on the run after getting away from authorities Saturday night.

Our Claire Kreuz talked with community members in the area who say they will be on alert until he is caught.

Police said if anyone has any information regarding the suspect to call 911 immediately.


LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Little Rock Police are investigating a homicide at Bass Pro Drive, near the Outlets of Little Rock.

Earlier reports stated that the shooting was a homicide, investigators clarified that the victim is alive but in critical condition at a local hospital.

A suspect, 16-year-old Keaton McGee was originally detained by Officers and transported to a hospital where he was then able to escape while seeking medical treatment.

McGee is a Black male who is 5’8″ and 140 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white muscle shirt and described as having a short afro-style haircut. He is considered extremely dangerous.

Search teams are looking for him in the area just south of the 12th Street Police Station.

If you see him or know of his whereabouts, investigators are directing people to call 911.

According to investigators McGee is also a suspect involved in the shooting of a girl on Otter Creek back in March

Little Rock investigators are also developing a second suspect that they were told was involved in the shooting.

This is an ongoing investigation.
