UPDATE: Lonoke County inmate who walked away from jail, has been found

Around 9 p.m. Monday night, the inmate who walked away from the Lonoke County Jail was found and taken back into custody.

Nathan Evans was located at an address on Webber Lane where he was attempting to hide from deputies.

Lonoke County Sheriff’s Office posted this on Facebook after he was found.

“Thank you to everyone that assisted. At about 9PM the Sheriff checked a house on Webber lane where the altercation had taken place earlier in the day, just after Evans left the jail. Sheriff’s deputies arrested the resident of this home earlier in the day for assisting the suspect. It is believed that Evan’s returned to this location after authorities left the area and the update was posted on FB.”

LONOKE COUNTY, Ark. — The county sheriff tweeted about an inmate who walked away from the jail.

The suspect is NATHANIEL EVANS, a white male with brown hair, blue eyes 5’10” around 190 lbs. He was last seen wearing a gray Hoodie, a green ball cap and dark sweat pants.
