Update: Little Rock police investigating Friday night homicide

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — More details have been released in a deadly shooting Friday night in Little Rock.

The deceased man has been identified as 22-year-old Edmond Daniels.

His relatives have been notified.

Daniels died at a local hospital after being shot.

Witnesses tell investigators the shooting was the result of a disturbance over a car accident.

Police responded to a shooting in progress call and found Mr. Daniels suffering from a gunshot wound in the driveway of a home in the 3800 block of Arapaho Trail.

Edmond Daniels’ body has been sent to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory for an autopsy.

It happened around 6:30 p.m. in the 3800 block of Arapaho Trail.

There is no word yet on the identity of the victim.
