JACKSONVILLE, Ark. – An 11-year-old Jacksonville girl missing for almost two weeks has been found in Nebraska, now a woman is in custody.
According to the Jacksonville Police Department, the girl was found on Wednesday with her non-custodial parent in Omaha, Nebraska.
Police say 29-year-old Susie Sanders is facing a charge of interference with court-ordered custody.
The girl was last seen in Jacksonville, Arkansas on the morning of May 13 when she was reported to have been picked up in a gray or silver SUV.
Investigators say that arrangements are being made by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office to return the girl to reunite with her grandmother in Jacksonville.
