LITTLE ROCK, Ark – It’s been nearly three months since a little rock mother was killed in her driveway  with her daughter in her arms.

Her husband is speaks out for the first time.

“It’s important that I stay strong for her to do well,” said the victim’s husband Arrallo Lopez.

Lopez shared what the last three months have been like after his wife was fatally shot.

“It’s different now, because as a parent I have to be the both the mother and the father,” said Lopez.

Police say 27-year-old Eunice Lopez was killed back in January on Keats Street.

Authorities said the mother  was standing in her driveway when she was shot while holding her two-year-old daughter in her arms.

“There are days that are really hard,” said Lopez.

Police arrested 18-year- old Ramale Collier, 15-year-old Kevin Williams, and 15-year-old Darrell Dixon.

Authorities said the three were trying to rob the mother.

“I have been working sometimes for only half days,” said Lopez.

Relatives say the husband has only recently been able to return to work. Taking months off because his daughter cries for her mother. With family close on difficult days — the single father says his strength comes from his daughter and his memories.

“She’s my only reason to keep moving forward,” said Lopez.

Police say Collier, Williams, and Dixon are facing robbery charges along with capital murder charges.
