Home shot up overnight in West Little Rock

Local News

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Police are investigating after a West Little Rock home was hit by bullets overnight.

It happened off Green Mountain Drive just minutes before midnight Thursday.

According to a police report, several children were in that house but no one was injured.

“I’ve heard gunshots around here before, but it seemed like it was awful close,” said Clyde Little, who lives next door.

Little has lived in his home for nearly 20 years and says this kind of violence was once uncommon, but is becoming more frequent.

“I kind of resign myself that I live in this neighborhood, whatever happens happens,” Little said.

Little Rock Police have not named a suspect.

Officers say they’ve also noticed an increase in calls to the area.
