LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Little Rock City Board voted Tuesday night to change the name of the street in front of Central High School.

The street name will change from South Park Street to “Little Rock Nine Way”.

This move comes as this week marks the 65^th anniversary of when nine African American students were finally able to attend the high school.

The school became one of the first in the country to desegregate.
