LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Former congressional candidate Vincent Tolliver has announced he’ll be running for mayor of Little Rock.

He announced his campaign to friends and family via his personal Facebook page.

“With a filled and inspired heart, it is an honor and privilege to announce I have decide to run for Mayor of Little Rock,” Tolliver wrote. “The decision was deliberate, intentional, and my own. Our grassroots campaign is known as “The People’s Campaign.”

He went on to lay out fifteen campaign priorities which included local control of LRSD, re-imagining public safety, no guns in schools, no at-large city directors, strong-mayor form of city government, and a 24/7 homeless facility.

Tolliver will be running against Warwick Sabin, Frank Scott, Jr., and Baker Kurrus. Each of these men previously announced their intention to run.
