Former Razorback Competes in Olympic Golf

Local News

RIO, Brazil – We’ve already seen history being made at the Olympics, and that trend continued Wednesday.

That’s right, golf made its grand return to the summer games. We’ve already seen the men compete, and now it’s time for the ladies to compete.

Like the men’s event, 60 players will try to tame the Olympic golf course in a 4-day tournament, but unlike last week where several top names on the PGA tour opted out, nine of the top 10 female golfers in the world are in Rio.

Even if doubt crept in, Stacy Lewis made sure she realized the magnitude of the games.

The best of the best in women’s golf is taking aim at three prizes a century in the making.
