Former Jefferson County Judge Jack Jones dies

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ark. – Former Jefferson County Judge Jack Jones died on Thursday at Jefferson Regional Hospital.

Judge Jones served Jefferson County from 1989-2006 as county judge.

Before Jones’s 17-year tenure as a judge, he served as a deputy with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office under the late Sheriff W.C. “Dub” Brassell.

Funeral arrangements for Jones will be announced at a later date.
