‘Donut Boy’ brings donuts to LRPD

Local News

LITTLE ROCK, Ark.- From “Coffee with Cops” to “Pastries with Police”, communities nationwide are doing what they can to back the blue, but one boy, in particular, is taking his sweet treats across the country.

Tyler Carach, better known as “Donut Boy” has made it his mission to hit all 50 states in the country and deliver donuts to police officers.

He even started his own page on Facebook titled, “I DONUT need a reason to THANK a cop, Inc.”

His latest pit stop was the Little Rock Police Department Friday afternoon with 20 dozen donuts.

“Why I wanted to get to all the states is because I wanted to thank every cop in America,” says Carach.

Hurts Donuts donated the sweets.

So far, he’s given out more than 77,000 donuts to officers in 42 states.

He’ll be knocking two more states off his list next week during spring break.
